GLASS-ED Winter Riding Challenges

Announcing Two Winter Riding Challenges!

Winter riding can be hard, it can be cold and dark and sometimes it’s hard to stay motivated. Our two Winter Challenge Events are designed to put some fun into your winter riding!  Plus, we want to encourage you to challenge yourself to try something new, improve your knowledge and skill, and better connect with your horse.

  • Winter Challenge I : Submit videos from Dec 1 -Jan 31 (deadlines are FIRM)

Judge Elizabeth Gagliardi

  • Winter Challenge II : Submit videos from Feb 1- Mar 30

Judge  Stephanie Likens

PLEASE NOTE:

  • THESE DO NOT COUNT TOWARDS ANY YEAR END AWARDS PROGRAMS!

  • Classes will not be split. Professionals may participate for scores but will not be placed.  JR/YR/AA’s will be placed together due to anticipated small class size.

  • A bit drop will be required at the end of all tests. Riders MUST dismount to drop bit and bit should be held up so it can CLEARLY be seen by the camera. For riders who choose to ride Bitless in the tack optional class, you must still dismount and take off the bridle to show camera.

  • All riders are required to wear protective headgear.

  • Please see additional rules on the “Rules” tab – it is your responsibility to know and follow the rules carefully! Entries not following the rules risk elimination.
